How can I hide this toilet?
Tiny bathroom problem is that I cant leave front door open during summer. Sounds silly ,I would like to somehow do a partition nothing permanent. Does not need to go ceiling. You folks are creative and look forward to ideas. Looking for budget friendly ideas. Eventually I will replace pedestal sink wth a mini pedestal sink. Tub will be made into walkin shower.

You can hang a shower curtain or a free standing screen. My daughter has one (screen) in her bedroom because it's in the attic space - 1 large area. That way she or a friend can duck behind it for privacy when changing. You might be able to find 2 old doors and make one.
Why can't you leave the door open? Put a door stopper in if the door swings shut. If the door won't open all the way just leave it ajar. If the door handle hit the wall use a door stopper but on the opposite side of the door to stop it before the handle touches the wall.
Hi Michelle,
Thank you for the picture!
From looking at it I am guessing you are standing by the toilet and it is visible when the front door is open? Please correct me if I am wrong. And the tub is to your left?
Where do you want to place the room divider?
Ok, how about a tension rod running from the tub wall to the opposite wall and putting a curtain as a divider. Or a beaded curtain?
Or, you could make a partition using command strips/hooks and run it that way with a strong line from 1 side to the other.
Not much space for a solid partition like a knee wall. I agree a curtain from ceiling to floor on a tension rod with curtain rings so it can be slid back and forth.
Nice house. I lived in something similar at one time. Until you remodel, how about just closing the bathroom door when you want the front door open. I never did, as it didn't bother me, yet understand it is a concern for others.
What about using a folding screen to cover the door when you have the front door open?
Do you have a security door on your front door? Ours is one that has a bunch of tiny holes in it. First off - its security for your home. Secondly - makes it super difficult for anyone to look inside. Third - its great for air flow through your home!
What about a frosted glass panel. Or Ikea sells fabric panels that hang from the ceiling. Check out the Ikea website.
To take the folding screen idea one step further..... What about a decorative fireplace screen. It should be just tall enough to hide the stool without totally blocking the view.
Something like shown in this video might work for you. Hang from the ceiling and use only one or two panels for the privacy you want.
