Hi Kathey, without seeing what you have to work with it is kind of hard to say. Could you put on any pictures of it?

That's okay, everyone seems to have you covered. I would love to have one too. I broke my ankle and messed up my knee but the knee didn't heal so I can't get in and out of a tub. I miss it. Hope you can get yours real soon.

We have an AMERICAN STANDARD walk in with an out facing door ... fit into the existing space we had for our walk in shower ... and they have a lifetime guarantee on ALL parts and LABOR ... they come in a variety of sizes --- you can contact their web site and look at what's available -- all mfgs are within the same size ranges ... but we felt that AS was the best bang for our buck

AS ( as will Jacuzi and Ferguson/OneStep) -- the only three mfgs. of StepIn's - will provide a FREE ( granted it's a 'sales pitch' ) consultation and they will do a LOT of 'remodeling' as part of the installation --- this is not a DIY job ... for any of the 'Step-in' tubs .... you will have to have it installed by a professional ... and they will advise you as to what will work for you in your choice of areas ...

    Hi Kathey,

Have you looked into having a bath seat of some kind - try Mobility shop?

We used those with my parents but you sit above the water. I would like to be be able to immerse myself in the nice warm water and relax without having to rush to prevent getting chills.

Hello again, You can buy a Bath seat that lowers you into the bath and will raise you up again. I recently saw one for sale secondhand in the UK.
