Ideas for what? If you need shelves it would be a good idea to install some. Freestanding shelves will work if you have floor space and the shelves will hold whatever you want to put on them. There are several different kinds of shelves that attach to the wall and everything depends entirely on what you want.
Hi Marsha! I know you said you needed shelves and I did too but had no real wall space to put them on except in my shower stall, so I placed a shower rod inside the shower next to the far wall. i placed it above eye level and used some shower hooks and now hang my various bottles from the hooks the curtain would normally be attached to. I just put large rubber bands around the bottles and knotted them and hung onto the hooks. It may or may not work for you but thought I'd suggest this. I thought it might interfere with my showering, but it really hasn't. And I love having everything so handy.
I put up glass floating shelves on the wall over the toilet. They come in different sizes too. The only downside is they can collect a lot of dust. But they make a beautiful storage area and makes the bathroom look light and airier
Hi look at the post from Marsha about her bathroom, I answered with pics of my bathroom shelves.
I love floating shelves. We built some for our farmhouse bathroom and I love them for extra bathroom storage. I will link a tutorial below.
