A picture or a layout sure would help. Are you willing to move plumbing?
Hi ! Too bad you didn't post a picture .
You can paint the sink cabinet . You can paint / wallpaper/ wood planks a focal wall.
For shelving , maybe put a few floating shelves above the toilet . I am in the process of re doing my bathroom , I am planning on knocking out an area between 2 wall studs , and putting narrow shelves set into the wall ( you can do this on an outside wall ! )
Twanda...Yes I agree that a picture will help a lot.
Is there room to bust into on one side of the room? Hard to make space if you don't have it. A picture would help.
So sorry there's not a lot you can do as a renter. You may not even be able to paint as you may lose your deposit. The best to get color would be with accessories or maybe "glue" material on the wall with liquid starch as the glue. Hometalk has the directions.
As far as more storage, bastets, plastic stack tubs and a shelf unit over the toilet would be the best. Purging extra make up and everything also helps.
Mirrors Try one as a window design. I am taking an old 4 pane window and replacing the panes with mirrors from the dollar store , but you CD just as easily get a frame from a thrift store and get some wood from Home Depot to make the spaces between the "mirrors". A cheap project and it will make the room feel more open. Mirrors are great for that. Also, don't be afraid of lights. There are so many kinds available these days and the light wd be doubled by the mirror. Win win!! Good luck
