How can I paint over small square tile-looking paneling?
What can I use to fill in the grooves and paint over the paneling? We bought a house and It has an ugly flower design and does not coordinate well with the rest of the bathroom. Thanks!!

I used drywall mud
We used calking to fill in our paneling grooves then painted it with aroma free Kilz primer. It turned out great!
Hi Margaret,
I did that to a wall in our house. I used non shrinking wall putty or spackle. I put it in the grooves, leveled it off with a spatula then let it dry. I sanded it smooth then applied a coat of primer before painting. It turned out really well. Wishing you the best.
