How to remove a tub kit and replace with a full shower kit?
I want to take out the fiberglass tub/wall kit that was installed when the house was built 15 yeara ago and make a full shower. I don’t have $7k to have professional company, but I want a professional finish. My concern is getting the pan and water proof cement board correct to prevent leaks. I could do the tile work myself.

Watch a lot of youtube for ideas and tutorials. you can order the fiberglass shower insert from Lowes, Home Depot, etc. Might need the help of a plumber.
Hi, special order a pan that will fit exactly over the existing drainage hole. There may be a bit of sticker shock, but a perfect fit will save you in the long run. Then the tile will be easy-peasy.
