Go to Habitat for Humanity. They have lots of tiles and if you want to update your tiles, for cheap you can remove the old and install the new. Or go to Lowes or HD and check out their counter tops. They are reasonable and they will install.

Rustoleum brand sells a tub and tile kit that you can use to paint the tiles. You need to do some prep work and wear a mask for fumes, but I plan on using this to do some updating and painting in my kids' bathroom.
I agree, if you don’t mind painting use the tile and laminate paint to update the look of your current tiles. Otherwise, pry the old tiles off and install a new countertop of your choice. xx
There are companies that specialize in restoring tile and recoloring it.... that yellow could become white, cream, or gray or what ever... Many companies also refinish bathtubs and sinks too.
Also..... check out DIYnetwork.com or HGTV.com or Pinterest.com and do some research.... check out all the bathroom design ideas, tile selections, all that stuff.... once you find the look you want... then you can make a plan on how to make it happen.
