What can I use on small shower walls besides tile that would work?
I want to redo my husbands shower. Right now he has a stand up stall and curtain . I want to rip that out and have it a small walk in tiled up to ceiling however I’m on a budget tight budget I’ve heard of these air stones people use to cover back splash in kitchen can I use these in shower walls or is there a less expensive way . With the green board and tile and grout it is extremely expensive even though it’s a small space. What else could I use to get ride of that awful stand up shower unit? It would have to be something I can do myself to surprise him. There has to be some things I can do to make it look nice but be inexpensive.?HELP

Pink Bathroom in Rented Apartment. What to Do?
This is my pink bathroom. The apartment is a rental, so I can't retile. What can I do to hide it or change its color?
You could paint the walls to mimic tiles as long as you use a paint that's meant specifically for wet areas (usually oil based paints). Or maybe one of these ideas will be an option - https://www.homestratosphere.com/alternatives-to-tile-in-the-shower/. Best of luck Colleen, I hope you come right
We removed our old shower stall, and my hubby and son replaced it with a tiled shower. This is not an easy, quick or inexpensive diy project! They had to build a multi layer water proof shower pan and replace water damaged wall board before installing the tile. Then we had to have a glass company install the glass wall and door. Good luck,
