Velcro should work fine
Qi would use industrial strength velcroe and I would use it in all corners and a piece as well on top and bottom portions and again on side portions. When you move take the velcroe off and clean any glue reside with brake cleaner. Yes that's right brake cleaner
What I had seen on posts is a L bracket either on the 2 ends and 1 in the middleif the mirror is large like mine. I thought that for the bottom to be stable I would use 3M picture frame sticky things, I forgot the name, that won't damage the surfaces.
