Rub N Buff Glow Up
I don’t know if you guys have ever use this amazing little product before but for six dollars it goes a very long way and makes a massive transformation of so many different items. Here we show you how we used rub n buff in color antique gold ( It comes in a variety of different color options) To transform our brushed nickel faucet’s that were sitting with our homes gold finishes.
Step one: Use was painters tape to go around the outside of your faucet so none gets on any of your porous surfaces that your faucet is attached to.
Use the rub n buff to go around the whole faucet.. As you can see here, as an extra layer of protection I just split open a plastic bag and put it down because I happen to be very messy but this is absolutely not necessary the painters tape will do the trick. And when I did my second faucet upstairs I did not do this step
you want to do the same thing with your drain plug if that matters to you. For me , I wanted them matching ! I don’t think everybody necessarily feels that need, but again you would just repeat the same exact steps taping around it and then using the Rubb n buff. There are many different ways to apply the rub n buff. This all comes down to preference some people like to use a sponge or a brush I personally like to put just a dab on a paper towel and rub it on it’s incredibly easy to work with
Now I have a totally new Faucet that matches my home is gold aesthetic and it cost literally less than 10$! How cool
is that! Since this project was actually use this product on different parts of our houses and we will share those in the future projects on here it is so versatile and such a great thing to have in your tool chest
