Here's how I madeover this thrift store vanity!
Here's how I revamped this vanity. I got it at the thrift store and as you can see, its pretty beaten up.

I used this white wood filler to fill in  the carved spots on the drawer that I didn't want. And I to fill in the holes so I can use drawer knobs instead of handles.

While the wood filler is drying, I'm going to take this layer off the top of the desk with a scraper from the dollar tree. It was too thick for sanding.

After scraping, I sanded it so it could have a nice and smooth surface

Then I started painting- I ended up giving it 2 layers of paint in all.

After everything dried, I marked out where I wanted my drawer knobs, I drilled a hole for my knobs. I found pretty crystal looking knobs on Amazon

I made these drawer organizers for the insides of the drawers

They were pretty time consuming but I'm really happy with how they came out
I also ordered this clear container for hairdryers and hair accesories from amazon. We added it to the side of the vanity.

You can watch a video tutorial of how I did this transformation!

Here's the after photo! I really like how it came out!!
Here's what the desk ended up looking like: All white, no more of the flower detail ( we used the wood filler over it and sanded it). And we added the pretty knobs.
