Vintage FP Vanity

This sweet little vanity was passed down through 3 generations and it was showing it's age. It was need of an upgrade and I was happy to oblige. :) A little paint, some new hardware, and vintage maps did the trick!

Before
I gave it two coats of black paint (All Surface Enamel from Sherwin Williams in stock black, low sheen) and then decoupaged the maps to the drawer fronts. I gave them a coat of stain (wipe on, wipe off) to darken them a little and then sealed with a coat of poly.
The finish really can make or break a piece, so no matter if you brush, spray, or roll sand between every coat!
