I have always loved this cabinet because of the beautiful carving on the drawers.
While downsizing, I found the perfect use for it!
After removing the sewing machine, (which I turned into a lamp!), and removing the rest of the insides and the top, I spray painted all of the metal with gloss black. It holds all of my makeup, soaps, etc. I found two 12 inch towel rods and installed them on each side for washcloths and face towels. And the foot treadle was put to good use to hold bath towels. I LOVE it'

LOVE it also. I now know what my guest bathroom vanity will look like when I get around to the remodel. I have my grandmother's, which I currently am using (with my sewing head in it) but will gladly give it up for this charmer!
