From Curbside to French Beauty
This year I had promised myself to not go "junking" during our city's annual cleanup. Then my neighbor comes up to me and says, "Hey, you should go check out this desk around the corner. I think it's an antique and something you would like, but go quick because the trash truck is coming." GASP.
I packed up my 6 kids in our suburban and found this beauty set curbside. With my new-found treasure hanging out the back of my truck, I headed home giddy that I saved this one-beauty. Head to the blog for the details.

Can you imagine someone setting this gorgeous piece curbside? Trashure, I say. "One man's trash is another woman's treasure".
It was missing the original mirror, but I was given this one from a sweet friend that would suit the purpose.
A couple days later, I found this antique vanity bench while thrifting...it's starting to come together. eep!
With the help of my sidekick, we sanded down that damaged top, and got our makeover groove on.
What a transformation of this beautiful piece! Some bling and TLC was all she needed. With the addition of some French love letters, this curbside lady is now a French beauty. Come see the makeover!
