A Guest Room Fit For Company

We'll be in our house for a year next month and had kicked nearly every room but the guest room, in spite of the fact that this room probably needed more help than any other room (it was easy to shut the door and forget about the "gas station bathroom green" walls.
Well, this week it was TIME.......and I couldn't be happier with the results. What do you think?
BEFORE
Kermit the Frog meets gas-station-bathroom green. This is the room we've been hiding for the past year. Unfortunately for them, we DID have a few guests in the last year, so it was time to stop punishing people and get this done!
AFTER
How about this for a change?

Lovely yellow paint and some new décor.

Bedding and pillows from HomeGoods.

Seashell lamps made from empty glass lamps from Target.
I "beached up" the furniture with home made chalk paint, light distressing and dark wax.

The dresser got new drawer knobs from Hobby Lobby.
My daughter scored this giant "port hole-ish" mirror at a yard sale for $20. It was lime green. Nothing a little chalk paint and steel wool couldn't fix. :)
Window treatment is 8 panels of sheers squished onto a rod to make a full, flowy window covering. Picture doesn't do it justice - it's quite lovely.
I love the way the dresser came out!
One of my favorite old, aqua glass Ball jars holds some silk hydrangeas. No - the artwork isn't crooked....the photographer's hand was! ;)
