It's time to convert my husbands man cave into a nursery! He is equally excited even though that means relocated his collection of actions figures icon

I started with the closet because it was just plain weird! And this was NOT my husbands doing! The house came with this closet in the sale.

I really cannot begin to stress how nonsensical these selves were. Between shelves in all different shapes and material to the amount of different screw heads, nails and pins used... it was a mess!

So here was the results... amount a 100 holes in the wall.

So I got to spackling and sanding.

Then I painted the entire closet with primer since in some areas it seemed that the original drywall was never even painted!

I used some old paint that I had from a pervious project which was a light beige. I figured it was worth using it up.

Then I ordered this cubby closet and drawers similar to the one I used for my daughters closet remodel but with smaller dimensions since this closet is a single not double.

I love the gold look of the industrial shelving system I got from Amazon. Except that the dimension on the website were off and I had to take it to Home Depot to have it cut! I might have been better off just cutting raw pipe myself.

This closet is deeper then a typical closet so on the side walls I added some hooks!

Considering kids clothes is smaller, I think the double bars will serve us well for a few years!

How cute!?! A closet fit for another princess in my life
