Few years ago I modified an old dresser/server to be my new bathroom vanity. I wanted something I couldn't find in the store. So here are my tips to alter the cabinet, make a granite template and install the granite and the undermount sinks yourself. YOU can do this too.
Remove the top of dresser and slide out drawers. Keep drawers because you will put drawer fronts back into place after altering them.
Find a cabinet or dresser that fits your space. Decide where you want drawers vs cabinet doors. Think about access to plumbing - Can you cut through shelves for plumbing without altering integrity of cabinet.
Follow steps in the video to separate the drawer front from the sides so you can attach the cabinet front with L brackets to enclose cabinet where the sink bowl will sit.
Use thin wood like luan to make a template for the granite. Mark where you want the sink and faucets to be positioned. Label wood to indicate wall side of granite slab and front edge so granite guy knows which edges are to be polished. Expect a week turn around for granite to be fabricated to size.
Install the undermount sinks to granite slab before lifting granite onto the cabinet base. Use silicone sealant to secure sink to granite and then install sink clips.
Drop granite slab into and Connect the plumbing
Carry granite to cabinet base and apply granite adhesive before lowering slab into place.
Connect water supply and drain for each sink.
Paint and accessorize the cabinet as you wish
