Isn't it amazing! All of the the things you can find in the attic... from old rags and furniture. I wandering in my mother in laws attic when I ran across a dusty old dresser and I had a thought. Well here is how I gave the old dusty dresser a whole new look with just a lick of paint!
I first cleaned off all of the dust. Once it was all clean I decided that I wanted to paint it a black matte. So I used 2 bottles of black ink paint to give the dresser a new look. I only needed to coat it twice which I think it looked great.
After giving it a full day to completely dry, the next day I used clear wax to give it that finished look. I had trouble with the wax at first but once I got it there was no stopping me!
I just loved how it all came together!
The Black was just perfect, I love it!
I'm glad I went for it, it really payed off. The dresser looks great now!
Finally got it in my bedroom.

Where is a pic of the complete put-together? I wish we could see that. At least we know the drawers look great!
