Meet Jacob, the Dresser

Painted Therapy
by Painted Therapy
Jacob is a solid piece . . . . but just a little boring. Adding my own custom color of chalk paint, and a heavy dosing of glaze, I can safely say he is no longer boring.
Jacob was a steal . . . a free find on Craigslist. You can't go wrong there.
I kept the original hardware, but decided to spray paint.
The drawers were in perfect condition, so I left them alone except for a bit of wood conditioner.
I love glaze. :)
There's something about this color combination and the wood drawers. He's kind of handsome to me. ;)
The before. I had left the "missing" drawer at the original location (yup, I'm a dope) and was too lazy to attach the mirror for the photo.

Beautiful, love the color that you chose.......what kind of glaze did you use? I've done a piece in a warm yellow, but have'nt sealed it yet.
