My client bought a very pricey queen-sized electric bed. It had a (gray) leather-like platform but did not have nor did he purchase a headboard.
I went to a local tool/home goods store and bought a three-quarter inch thick piece of wood and cut it into the desired shape per my client's request. I covered the plywood with the 2 inch high density foam, then batting, then fabric. I drilled holes from the back to in the desired pattern. I upholstered metal buttons and attached them to the headboard over each hole.
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:
- I use three-quarter inch plywood, high-density foam, batting, gray fabric, a jigsaw, a ruler, a stap (I bought the wood and the tools from Home Depot. I bought the fabric, the foam, and the buttons for )
