This is a project I created with items I already had in my home. I had a bare corner in the living room just begging for something to spice up the space...why not a bar? I decided to create an armoire bar made from an old foot locker and a kitchen chair. Check out how it came out!
I began with this old army foot locker; once the holder of my family's ice skates and snow boots, and then taking up space in our spare room. I see a better future for it!
I then took a discarded chair and cut off the chair back with a saw. I will use the base as the bottom of the bar.
The top of the chair - now saved for a future project. Any ideas?
I then tipped the locker on its side and attached it to the chair base. It looks like it was meant to be!
I'm still working on the shelves and glass hangers, but here's the view of the inside of the "bar-moire" . I sure hope it inspires you to look at items in your home in a different light.

Cheers!
