Brilliant Idea for Extra Storage in Small Nightstand

I got this dark-gothic looking nightstand.. so depressing..It was "too black" so I decided to painted in something crazy happy .. I have purchased new brand of chalk paint- Old Town Paint Chalk Finish - Coral
before i started to paint, I was thinking I will try decoupage the drawer, and while I was looking for something matching I fond gold "lace -looking" napkins.. I was thinking - how cool matching pair of colors.. coral & gold.. I
Painted all in one coat of coral and pure white inside the drawer. I decopaued napkins, that looked even better than I thought.
When i finished second coat i wasn't pleased, it was to "neat" I decided to add extra gold "here & there" to got real "coral & gold" - my crazy happy effect :)
yeah, muuuch better.. but then I was thinking , it looks nice but doesn't have too much storage..and that was the moment I had briliant idea to make an exta storage box matching this nightstand.
I had perfect box, that first I have painted whole box in white just both insude & outside coral and gold. Then I decopauged top & back outside with same gold-white lace napkins & darker scrapping paper inside. I have added hardware for easy access.
Finished product :) what do you guys think?

Very cute. I kind of liked the original black but it would need some accent color for sure if left black....like a light brown maybe.
