DIY BED TO BENCH by Jill Andrea

Materials used:



Antique 3/4 bed


Reclaimed lumber'


CeCe Calwell's Paintr


Safe Coat Agcriglaze


Minwax Stain


General Finishes Arm R Seal Gloss
Start by cutting the foot board in half to transform it into arms.


Next step was to handcraft the seat and the front drop piece from reclaimed lumber. -
The seat was stained with Jacobean and Red Mahogany alternating the colors between the different boards once the stain was dry it was sealed with several layers of urethane.
It was then given a light sanding and flat areas given a wash with grey paint
