When you have drawer dividers, if any of them are for just one item, this can be a problem when several of the dividers are temporarily empty. Labeling them helps!
This is our shared bathroom drawer. (I am not showing "Before" pics.) This concept works for any drawer with dividers in the kitchen, or really any storage containers, especially those which are supposed to house just one item. First, I found cracker and cereal boxes that were the right size or could be resized to fit my drawer. I have been so inspired by all the wonderful posts here for repurposing containers!
Then I made labels for when a section is empty. I printed them out on the computer and covered them with clear contact paper so they can be wiped off as needed. My husband's shaver is GROSS! The drawer is always full of the little whisker trimmings, and they invariably get stuck to the toothpaste, my brush, and all over the bottom of the drawer. Yuck! This necessitated a solution. I hope he will stick to the plan, so that the little whisker trimmings will be isolated in only one section, and no longer on the toothpaste tube! (Oops! How did my foot make it into that pic?)
