If you're looking for a piece of furniture that screams femininity, this one is for you! What says girly more than pink and gold?? Get the exact pink paint color used and learn more about how to paint furniture here.

This is what the chest of drawers looked like before. There were quite a few pieces of trim missing on the sides, but the front looked pretty good, other than needing some love. I removed what trim remained on the sides and replaced the missing trim on the front with what I took from the sides.

There was also issues with the veneer lifting up in some spots, so we glued them down and used a ratcheting tie down strap as a clamp.

Finally it was ready for pink paint! It took a few coats, and there were some issues with some staining (also known as bleed through) from the wood tannin. But once those issues were corrected, I distressed the edged lightly.

See the full process of this dresser and learn how to fix problems when painting furniture.

I added new gold cup pulls to finish off the farmhouse style.

Isn't she super girly and feminine now?

You can recreate this look on any piece of furniture, from a table, to nightstands and even chairs. Grab some pink paint and go!
