I made this pallet chest for a client who wanted it all to be 100% pallet wood and here is how I started.
I used a pallet buster to break down the pallets it has taken me 7 to 10 minuets to break this down.
It took a total of 3 pallets to make this pallet chest and here is the wood after I used a pallet buster they come out nice and clean.
I used the pallet braces as my frame I made the frame 18 inches high by 33 inches long i made so I have no cuts at each end and the pallet boards fit perfect
Then i cut the pallet boards 18 in and nailed them to the frame
Then i made the lid with 5 boards total and i gorilla glued the to gather with clamps
Then I stained it with a gun stock stain and after it dried I added the handle for the lid.
Then I added handles on each side for easy lifting
Here you have a pallet chest made out of 100% pallet wood.
I added to strap hinges for the lid an this is my pallet chest for a client and I hope she enjoys it for years to come
