Which recliners would be the best choice for my nursery?
Hello, I am thinking to get my first recliner for my nursery. Please suggest me some idea. I want the best. By type, brand, and price.
Thank you.

Hi JEan, this article shared a whole bunch of beautiful ones in different styles and budgets - https://www.returnofthestork.com/best-nursery-gliders/ Hope it helps
The most comfortable and stylish (they would look good in a living room even) are the glider rockers from Pottery Barn Kids. They look like regular chairs and come in a variety of fabric choices.
Hi Jean! We were on a more limited budget, and we went with the Ikea Poang armchair. It "bounces" a bit for the rocking. We decided against the actual rocker because it sits a little lower. I also chose this chair over a traditional glider because I wanted to be able to use it in any room of the house when my daughter outgrows it. You can see her whole nursery here. She is 10 months old now, and I've loved the chair!
Recommendations are great, it gives you a starting point. YOU need to sit in the chair and be comfortable. Your height and the construction of the chair make a difference. A chair that is comfortable for me (5'10" with long legs), is different than my 4'11" girlfriend or all my friends in between. Learn how to properly sit in a chair, it should not cut off circulation in your legs. Nor should your knees be higher than your lap. You should be able to rock gently or lean back comfortably to let baby nurse or take a bottle without your arms falling asleep.
When my kids were little, I used a rocker recliner that was in the Livingroom. It fit me really well and was so comfortable. Being able to recline some when breast feeding really helped and having it rock when trying to get them asleep after feeding was a godsend.
