I recently got this table and thought it would look good in a statement colour (fusion mineral paint in Renfrew Blue)

and it didn’t disappoint!!!

the drawers are also fake - it’s just a feature

I love how it turned out!!!

Before

The previous owner had spilled some wax on it so I used a scraper to get it off

Twisted off the handles

Handles removed

The handles had a build up of residue on them

A little tip…

put them in a container

pour vinegar and baking soda over them

put boiling water on top of them and let them soak for a few minutes

And here they are nice and clean!

First coat - looks light

First coat

First coat complete!

Second coat - using Fusion mineral paint in Renfrew Blue

featuring Caesar my doggo!!!!

Second coat - i did 3 in total of colour

Close up of the 3rd coat

Top coat to seal - fusion have a built in top coat but I was planning on selling this so I added a top coat to be safe!

Easiest top coat - pour it on & use a damp sponge to spread it

Top coat

Finished result!!!

Close up!!!

This came out great! I love your color choice. I haven't heard of this paint, but you don't need to prime first? Bonus! Must try.

That turned out fantastic! And the tip on cleaning the knobs is great! Thanks for that. The finishing results are just tremendous. I wouldn’t have even thought of that color but seeing it is a while new outlook. Thanks so much for sharing. You did a fantastic job! I love it! 👏🏻

Question for you. Are you still going to sell it or have you decided to keep it? 😁 If it looks that good and it goes with your decor, I would keep it. But, that’s just me. Still love it! Great job!

Hi, I love the color you, and the finished look is just wonderful. Did you really do all that painting with such a small drop cloth? When I paint or stain my clothes get lots of color samples, lol, though I am neat when it comes to the object at hand BUT I would want a bigger drop cloth over such a pretty floor. You are far braver than I am!!

A fabulous job done on this table. The color is beautiful. Great size table for an entry way, bedroom, or where ever a small table is needed. Love It.

Such a great color ( I use it extensively in my kitchen lol ) but just a totally random comment- the salt lamp. I know they are healthy to keep indoors, but a word of warning to anyone who decides to use one: THEY MELT. Use caution and keep an eye on it, because it will ruin the finish of anything you rest it on if you don’t notice!
