Let's talk dresser makeovers today! This one in particular is one of my all time favs! Mostly because of the teal blue color this one is painted in. Here's how you can makeover your own dresser into a beautiful teal dresser!

This is what the dresser looked like to begin with. If you look really close you will see that some of the trim work on the drawers was missing here and there.

Instead of trying to recreate the trim, I removed the trim from the 3rd drawer, then used that trim to fill in the other areas that needed replaced.

Once it was scuff sanded and wiped down I took it out back to get sprayed. I love my sprayer so much. It makes painting a piece of furniture with any details so.much.easier!

I sprayed my very favorite teal blue and only used half a pint of paint!

Then I lightly distressed the details and edges so the wood tones would show from underneath.

Since I used chalk paint, I sealed the paint with water based polyurethane (the best way to seal chalk paint in my opinion!)

And then I put the old hardware back on.

Notice the trim? I love that your eye can still follow the line of trim from the 2nd drawer to the 4th drawer.
