Twine Wrapped Table

My son had built this simple little table a few years ago that was starting to show a lot of wear and tear and needed a makeover of some sort. So after thinking about it for a while I came up with an idea I wanted to try.
It was just a plain little table we had painted white and used on our porch but was needing some TLC to bring it new life. I have been on a twine wrapping binge for quite some time and decided that this would really look cute with the top wrapped.
So I began with a roll of jute twine I got at Wal-Mart for $1.99. I started on the underneath side of the table and wrapped the edge first.
Then continued on to the top.
The results were just as I had imagined - maybe even better.
A perfect little beachy table for a beach themed patio.
