This is what I made for my daughter. Well, I have been trying to make her be tidy but...well, its what the kids do. Things get messy. Really Messy. Among many items, my biggest headache was kids jewelries, especially the necklace. Almost every time I see, they got entangled and kind of...very hard to separate. So I made this jewelry box for her to make her favorite items put nicely, just like the little princess.
Step 1: Wood pieces, dollar shop frames, and cloths.

First, I purchased 4 small frames in pink and white, and 2 bigger frame at dollar store. For the cloth, I choose the unicorn my daughter loves.
Step 2: De-assemble the frame, glue the cloth, put the wood pieces

I have separated each part, then place the cloth. After the glues are dried, placed the wood pieces to make it box.
This is the back of the box. The white wood pieces are not necessary, I just thought having little bit of height would be nice, but it was not really needed I think. It just took more time.
Step 3: Glue small frames on top of other bigger frame

The remaining bigger frame would be base of 4 small frames. In this stage, I have glued all 4 small frames on top of bigger one. And I have added the another unicorn cloth under small frames surface.

After making the top panel, use hinge to put them together.
Step 4: Final stage for decoration!

This is always the fun part of all. So all the functions are ready and now need little of decoration. Since my daughter loves princess stories, I have added the shining parts there.
This is how it looks inside...
I have chosen the color because of this drawers and it looks like all matching color at the end. It has been couple of months since she started using this princess imaged jewelry box, well, I think she is been bit tidy when it comes to jewelries...
