DIY Jewelry Holder

4 Materials
Hello home talkers, today I will show you how to make a very easy jewelry holder or key holder using scrap wood and a little bit of imagination!
Step 1: Prep the wood board by cutting it to size mine was 10x5 inches then sand it smooth and pre- drilled.
Step 2: I decided to do a simple triangle shape. I just use a painter's tape, you can do any pattern if you like. Stripes, Chevron possibilities are endless!
Step 3: I then started painting it using some acrylic paints that

I got from a craft store they are very affordable. I used metallic gold, fuchsia, light blue and gray. Color combination is totally up to you!
Step 3: After 3 coats of paints letting them dry in between coats. I let it dry completely for 30 minutes before I proceed to the next step. Once it has dried I peeled off the painter's tape.
Step 5: Now it's time to put the hooks. I put 5 hooks you can put as many as 10. By the way if you coat the hook's screw with wax driving it to the wood will be so much easier.
Step 6: Here is the finished products. As you can see I did a 2 toned jewelry holder with fuchsia and gray combination. I then decoupage the flowers at the center. I turned out so cute as well.
Step 7: Watch the video tutorial here!
