Thrift Shop Mug Tree Re-purposed For Jewelry

A $2 thrift shop oak mug tree gets a makeover with paint, a little sawing and sanding, and a small baking pan.
I picked up this mug stand recently while out thrifting. I paid $2.
First I sawed the top finial off about half way down. Then, I painted the mug tree with a couple of coats of chalk paint.
I "wet" distressed the mug tree and nailed the small baking pan to the top.
The mug stand/jewelry holder will store and display bracelets, necklaces, earrings and also rings! More details for this project can be found on my blog!
