How to do a glam bedroom makeover on a budget for a 6 or year old ?
I do not want to paint furniture. I am looking for glam decor ideas on a budget. My daughter is 6 and likes the pretty, shiny, mirror and lighting look. Sequin accents. What could I create to hang on the wall? Curtain ideas? Accent rug idea. And how to make over a bookcase for storage?

When I was in that stage of life, lol, I took a sheet of Styrofoam and covered it with pink velvet and shiny stuff. It worked as a bulletin board for my photos and I also hung jewelry on tacks from the board. This was hung on the wall over my dresser.
For the bookcase, you can dress it up without paint by placing mirror tiles on the back wall of the shelves and putting cute decorations in front of the mirror. Then use little hooks on the face frame to hang feather boas and other stuff. Add a few pieces of her favorite color fabric as runners underneath the decorations on the shelves and dresser.
Bookcase: Cover with a metallic contact paper or removable wallpaper.
Walls: There are metallic wall decals that are polka dot. They are peel & stick. You could do a pattern or just random. I would think an accent wall rather than all the walls.

Lighting: String some fairy lights and high behind tulle material or sheer voile.
Closet: Change the doors out for either a shimmering fabric or beaded curtains. This would probably be the most expensive thing but it would really be a WOW factor.

I agree - wall decals and string lights (you can get both from Amazon) might give the room the look you’re looking for. A white shag area rug might be a good addition, too. You could add pretty cloth storage bins with cute wood or chalkboard tags to the bookcase.
Pink lace curtains how about het a hula hoop and hang a sheer curtain on it over the bed maybe paint the bed shinny silver put some bling on the book case .change the knobs on the dresser for fancy shiny silver
Hello Jen, hope this helps you out, you can get supplies on amazon and other online stores for great prices, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tS3a4tJy9gA
You can do a lot of changes that she'll love but I suggest getting her completely involved. You can change out the hardware on the current furniture to ones that have bling. Hobby Lobby often have hardware at 1/2 off. You could find mirrors and decor at local consignment stores and perhaps paint it in the colors she loves. She'll enjoy the process and learn a lot along the way. You can find the really furry washable rugs to accent the floor and make it comfortable for her and her friends. The fairy lighting suggested seems something she might like too!
Check out the Dollar Tree for wall hangings. They have some really pretty mirrors and cute saying that you could add.
Curtains, try JCPenney and you could go for sheer or black. I always think black and pink for glam.
The main thing is the bedding should guide you to the curtains an rugs. If you have an Ollie's they are great for rugs at a budget price.
Oh wow what fun, go to the Thrift store and look for kids blankets and sheets. Paint the room favorite color and add lots of color.
