Updating bedrm: grey parquet floors; lavender walls; black matte furniture. Have 3 standard-size windows in bdrm. Currently have scalloped fabric shades w/tassels & valance, extending from outer left window to outer right window with draping over each window. Want something soft, brighten the room. sheer curtains? drapes? blinds? I'm lost. HELP !

Sheers for sure! You can even add another color on the sides. But really fill up so it’s lush!

Thank you for responding. That's exactly the look I want ! It's the middle window ???Just stretch the sheer curtain across all 3 windows and hang light drapes at l & rt ends? Shades? If not, what for privacy? Your look truly gives me the soft look for which I look.

You could also put the darker shade between each window, for more interest, instead of all white across the three windows.

maybe those toothpick wooden roller shades, I find those very attractive. Or just good quality roller shades?

Here’s a photo of the roller shades I mentioned

You are awesome, Lorraine. Thank you so much. I especially like the darker shade for the center window. I definitely will look into the roller shades, perhaps in a grey or purple shade. It's kind of you to share your prestigious talent.

Hi Peggy. I like using semi sheer curtains. Walmart.com has a great affordable selection.

Thanks much, Amanda, I'll definitely check them out.
