What can I do to make my bedroom cozy but beautiful!?

just finished mine on a low budget. Painted the walls and stenciled the whole back wall. Looks like wall paper Without the cost.

Muted or vibrant. It depends on what you want. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Use a comfortable headboard and
2. put swing out lights on either side unless you have windows. Makes more space on side tables.
3. Use simple, functional side tables.
4. If you have room, put in one or two small but comfortable reading chairs and a side table.

A soft paint color, new bedding, lots of pillows, wall art, paint old furniture, new headboard, soft lighting all will contribute to a relaxing, cozy space.

A beautiful paint color. Keep things simple, not too contrived, recognize what YOU and your mate need for personal comfort, customs. Do you like to read in bed? You need lamps. On a budget check out Goodwill etc, for comforters, throw rugs, curtains etc. Plain white window shades are inexpensive and can be decorated. I like antique beds and sometimes they are available at thrift stores. A friend got an Ikea sofa at a thrift store and then bought a new slip cover for it from Ikea. If you like wall art in your bedroom that is very easy to find and to accumulate. Good luck. Bedrooms are fun to design. p.s. pick out your top bed coverings first before your paint color. It is a lot easier to match a paint color to fabric than the other way around!
