What type of bedspread to choose ?

Hello, 
Walls of my bedroom is cream colored and I have maroon curtains which are dark and bright. what color of bedspread will add warmth and coziness in this room ?

More over, my bed is queen sized and I have a 3 door wardrobe along with a small dresser. I have a corner table too. The room has small free space after keeping all these furniture. Can any one suggest a makeover for this room ? I want to make this cozy. The room has an attached bath and veranda with 2 big windows opening outside and I get plenty of sun and wind. Every ideas and suggestions are greatly welcomed.

I think a flowered (small) that picks up the color or the curtains or a stripe that also picks up the colors.

I'd find a bed spread that had cream, pink and burgundy in it and use some pink throw pillows on the bed to soften the look a little......

It says you are from Jamaica, so I was wondering if you wanted to keep the look of that region rather than say Country which you'd be more apt to see in the USA. Do you want to keep it light and breezy? Your room sounds lovely; lucky to have that veranda. Do you sew or do you intend to purchase a bedspread?
