This project has taken 3 years to kick-off. I believe if you have checked my other post, you'll know the reason I held off the room makeover is because we had a honeymoon baby and most of the money had to go to savings.

The bedroom was really in bad shape, really did not portray the decor in the sitting room so I never let anyone go there. Do you see what I mean with the before picture icon .

Well, now I leave the door to our room wide open so that everyone can see. A few touches here and there are remaining, for example painting the room. But I have decided to put the painting on hold and do so after I deliver (yap baby no. 2 on the way) in order to achieve my budget goal.

So first I upholstered the bed (check previous post on how I did it), then I put the bedside lamps. The bedside lamps were a basket that I turned to a light.

I then bought some pillow cases and the bedding

Lastly I added the side tables that were thrifted

And lastly, I moved the mirror that was in the sitting room into the bedroom. I am glad I did because it change the whole room
