Are you asking about bi-fold doors? If so measure the door opening and buy bi-fold doors that fit the opening. The sliding doors can be lifted up to remove them from their track. Remove that track and install the track and floor pivot hardware per the instructions.

It isn't clear what you mean by half swinging doors.

Is it Dutch doors that you are referring to?

If you are referencing "bi-fold doors", you'll need to know the precise width/height of the existing doors as well as the space of the opening. A lumber yard or home store will help you to select the appropriate weight/wood/size, and placement of door handles. The hardware installed is very important to insuring smooth opening and closing, so don't skimp in this area.

I plan on doing this for one of the closets in my office. I need both sides to be open at the same time. I'm going to have to custom make the doors because my close it's standard. Then I have to build out the sides a bit so I have something to install the hinges to since the doors are recessed a bit.
