I have some used outside doors I want replace my old wood

the hinges are 31"centers on used doors and 32" on wooden doors, how do I hang the used doors using the 31" center. Do I redo the frame or is it best to redo the door and use the old hinges. The used doors are metal over wood frames. Donald Jones

    Buy some wood putty to fill the old holes or just switch out the hardware. Easy.

    Redo the frame to match the door. Much easier to modify the frame than the door. The frame takes the stress of the door weight. You want it to be perfect short of replacing it.

    Yes, I agree with William. Make necessary adjustments on door frame is the way to go, rather than trying to change the door.

    Since the replacement doors are metal over wood, I agree you should redo the door frame. Use wood filler to fill in the old hardware location. Since you will be removing the hinges, and possibly the doorknob and lock areas, this would be a good time to polish or repaint all the hardware. Best wishes 😇
