Barn Wood Closet Doors

When we moved into our home we had to take out all the closet doors and remodel all the closets. We made the decision then to keep the closet doors off – but now I just want to hide all the junk! Okay… so not really junk more like their clothes and toys. Since we wanted open closets at first I had to build the doors from the ground up – including the new door jamb. I am completely in love with the new closet doors!
The finished doors, stained with Minwax Classic Gray.
Open closet before.
We tore out all the drywall and corner bead and built a brand new door jamb.
Using 1x6's and 1x4's we built the doors.
We used Tee Hinges to hang them up and give them more of a farmhouse feel.
