See how I transformed an unwanted old pump organ that was headed to the dump into a beautiful new wine bar! Follow step by step....
This is what she looked like on the day I "saved" her from the landfill.....
First, I gutted her....it was a very dirty job!
Then I replaced her missing back with reclaimed barn wood.....
Also using reclaimed wood, I added a top shelf and a front board where the keys were removed......
You can see the barn wood in the back, the shelf and the front board!
Now she is ready to head to the store for her facelift!!
I used Kristi Kuehl 100% Non-Toxic Pure Home Paints and Finishes on her. My choice was Derby with the Matte Protective Finish and Chestnut Protective Wood Stain.
Love the look....
Almost ready for her new home....
One more STUNNING piece saved from the landfill!!

So glad you saved her to repurpose!! What did you end up doing with the keys and pull stops?

Good job! With your skills, I bet you could even make secret cabinets from those two panels on either side of the foot pedal frame. Where did the guts of the organ go?
