DIY Bathroom Vanity--Take 2

Woodshop Diaries
by Woodshop Diaries
Once upon a time I, alongside a VERY reluctant husband, remodeled a bathroom. And it was a nightmare. After the bathroom was done and the new bedroom floor was laid, I swore to Danny that I wouldn’t even THINK about another remodel “anytime soon.”
Oh memories, such a fickle thing. How quickly I forget all those late nights covered in crawl space dirt, exhausted and sweaty, and hating myself for ever starting this thing to begin with and turned my thoughts to how much “fun” it would be to remodel our guest bathroom. Someone PLEASE define “soon” and “fun.” Apparently I can’t figure it out.
Within three months of swearing off remodels, I’m back at it, already planning the next one—starting with a new DIY bathroom vanity. The actual remodel will probably be in a few more months (Danny takes some time to convince), but I’ve already got the idea in my head. We are replacing the double vanity cabinet here with two smaller single vanities.
I’ve only made one so far. I wanted to make sure I liked it before I made the other one.  Good news…I do icon  So the other one will be coming soon. But I’ve got the how to below.  More details can always be found in the blog post link below.
First I built two side panels with vanity legs I got from Osborne Wood (details in the blog post below), some 2x2s and plywood.  Because I was using an above mount sink, I ended up having to trim the legs for the correct vanity height.

Then I attached the sides together with 2x2s on the front and scrap plywood, on the back and added a bottom drawer.
Then I installed a "shelf" above the drawer using a 1x2s and plywood and made a drawer front and two matching doors for the top.
I glued boards together for the top and stained and painted everything.  I added this sink (details on the sink are in the blog post) to see what it looked like, but the actual vanity wont be installed for another couple months...I have to convince the husband it's time to start on the remodel ;)
Once everything was painted, I used some small brass hinges to attach the doors and used these super cute brass ring pulls from D. Lawless Hardware.
Here's a sneak peek.  Get the full tutorial in detail and more pictures in the blog link below.

I don't see a link to full site. Can you please post it. I would like to check the cost of materials. This gave me an idea for night stands that I've been thinking about. Thanks.
