We have a hall closet that used to have ugly, brown bi-fold doors. I bought some used hollow core doors {not bi-fold} at a Habitat Restore, and turned them into beautiful cottage style doors!

    Couldn't you glue the bi fold doors together for the base?

    did you use bead board or did you paint the lines? I have sliding core doors and wonder if I could get the look by applying all paint instead of wood.
