I’ve had some hair pin legs for ages that are the right height for a table but I could never really find the right place to use them. As my daughter started school I realized she might enjoy a little workspace of her own in her room, so I decided to surprise her with this project.

For this project I used 4 metal

hair pin legs from amazon, a piece of wood I found at lowes that measures 3’ x16”, minwax stain in special walnut and my drill.

i placed the legs on each corner of the wood and screwed them in place using the screws provided with the legs.

Once the legs were on I took it outside, lightly sanded the surface and edges. Then I wiped it clean of dust and followed up with one coat of stain.

And... that’s all she wrote! This was super quick and easy and a wonderful way to use the table legs that I’ve ad lying around for far too long.
