Hello! Today I will tell you how I made a small cabinet for shoes in the hallway. The dimensions of the cabinet for shoes are 680 * 300 * 470 mm. It is small, but it fits the size of the cabinet.

We’re a family of 2 and we’re constantly losing the battle with shoes in our entryway. Since our shoes are always a mess we wanted to keep a storage bench there for the kids to sit down on when getting ready.

I took the furniture panels and cut them. Used furniture panels from pine.

All connections glued with glue

I used pocket hole jig to connect

for the back wall I cut a groove with a milling cutter

I put it all together and cleaned it with sandpaper

Then I painted everything with paint. Applied 2 coats of paint

I covered Seat with Watco Danish Oil. Applied 2 coats of oil

That's it, you're done. If you want to see more details you can watch my video on Youtube https://youtu.be/4XThQTkJHX4

Love your project and it sure fits perfectly. I have a helpful cat like you, who always "assists" in and gives the final approval for everything. Beautiful.

I see you notched out part of the baseboard to get the bench to fit as close as possible to the wall. Every mm counts!
