I saw another Hometalker's fantastic post and I decided to give it a try myself! Plus they provided all of the dimensions so I was able to do it easily!
Bench finished in white and dark walnut stain
I went to Lowes and bought 1 board 2"x 12"x 12' and had them cut all the pieces.
2 x 42"
2x12"
2 x 18"
= 144
And the only reason it took me 3 days was because of sanding and waiting on paint & stain to dry, otherwise the project was pretty simple to recreate! I am so pleased :)
All started with 1 board
I bought the wood from Lowe's and had them cut it for me.
2@ 42"
2@ 12"
2@ 18"
= 144"
No leftovers and no waste, now that's my kind of project!
After I put it together
I put all of the pieces together using a jig hole tool and screws. It's looking good!
Finished project in my guest bedroom
I don't have anyone staying in the room for now so I just put some odds and ends in it for now. Oh I forgot I haven't used the wood putty filler to fill the holes yet either.

I hope you enjoyed watching my project and are willing to do the same and give a try!
