Do you have wall space to hang shelves vertically?
I would use vertical space if you can. You could build two simple shelves and fit bins across them. The bins could hold more books than if you just placed the books on the shelves. We build shelves like this and made them so they would fit 4 storage bins across. It holds so much!
You can also use the space above your doors. Add shelves then add books and a decorative item like bookshelves.
Also stack your books on both or one side of seating area and use has tables.

Some ideas! Good luck

i have my paper back books in an old cd/dvd cabinet. my digital library is in 3 external storage hard drives.
Crates work great or shelving close together lined
Hmmmm … I hadn't thought of that! Thanks ... :)
3 shelves to each cabinet, adjustable shelving, mine happen to be black, and I have 6 of them.
The cabinets have adjustable shelves that fit the books. 3 tiers of paper backs fit nice.
