Go to you tube and watch tutorials in building drawers and chests. Takes some specialized tools, patience and some skill to build furniture, especially ones with drawers. Good luck and have fun.
I agree with Kelli. I am a woodworker and it does take specialized tools and skill. My suggestion is to do a Google search and you will see some fine woodworking sites.

Another option is to find one used and sand and paint it or sand and re stain it.
