How do I build a simple computer desk with shelves and printer stand??

I need a desk for my computer. I also need a bigger printer stand with shelves for printer supplies and computer programs and books. I have a very small space but when I move I'd like to be able to expand the desk a little. I love the idea of built in shelves facing away from the desk, toward the room. By the way, I only have one corner of a bedroom to work with. :(

Consider picking these pieces up at thrift stores - very inexpensive. $10-20.00. Then only build what you cannot buy. Paint them all to match. These are sometimes giveaways in some neighborhoods - sitting out by the curb.
